ZIPLESS PODCANS BRANDING
Zipless is a (sometimes spicy) podcast for romance lovers and listeners created
by Allie Martina. This podcast explores all things romance novel related—from common themes
like friends to lovers, age gaps, and love triangles, to deeper experiences like empowerment
and self fulfillment.
The Zipless brand was inspired by 70s era illustration, using bold radiating lines that are based
off a woman’s arched body lying on her back. The radiating colors signify power and the celebration of the female body. The wordmark has rounded terminals and intertwining letters that offer
a more… supple vibe—it is soft, bold, strong, and feminine.

CONCEPT SKETCHES
The eggshell color in the palette is a reference to printed books while the bold red color feels sultry and bright. Supplemental colors of dark red, pink, orange, and yellow round out the warm and inviting color family.
In addition to the arched back set of radiating lines, I designed a series of different Lines that Zipless could use for their socials and marketing needs. Each set of Lines are inspired by a specific body pose and offer open space for the brand to add information.
